For me photography is an escape. It is its a moment in time to separate from the normality of my life and immerse myself into the real pleasure of creating art, and a memory. In that 1/200th of a second I can forget about life's daily grind and simply focus on the life present in front of my lens.

to me photography has always been something of a passport. Not the passport needed to travel between continents, more a passport to travel through the lives of others and being part of that moment. Being a photographer gives me the ultimate excuse to indulge my urge to learn about other people and cultures.

The following portfolio is subjective, as all photography is. these pictures are a manifestation of how I see the world around me, a world that, as iv'e grown older has changed my outlook, photography is just a different way of perceiving that world, of making sense of it through the lens, a moment in time separate from normality a different perspective, subjectivity in its purist form, what I see and then what you the viewer sees.

My pictures although mostly shot around London show the diverse nature in the Architecture and the people who inhabit this great city from the London wall built by the Romans to St Brides Church, right up to the monolithic Shard, the diverse history of the people, the Artisans and cultures still remain, if you can't already tell I love this city.
